Licensor (seller): Listing an Item

 

  1. 1.To register a new license for a media asset, simply click on “Add Media” on the top navigation menu.






  1. 2.Choose to upload a file or link a file stored on another server. Fill out the Title, Category, Keywords, and Description Fields to describe your new media asset.


  1. •We support the following file formats for images: .JPG, .GIF, .PNG

  2. •We support the following file formats for video: .WMV, .3GP, .AVI, .MOV, .MP4, .MPEG, .FLV, .MKV






  1. 3.Fill out the “Special Instructions to Licensees” if you would like all prospective (buyers) to understand any restrictions on the media asset. For example, you can determine special image handling instructions, restriction on or permission to edit the content in a specific way, requests to include or not include your name as an attribution wherever the content is posted, etc.






  1. 4.Then click the “Save” button and your done! You can always go back and edit or update the text fields as needed.





  1. 5.Remember, always try to use the unique “PeerDeal Link” next to the preview image whenever you post your content somewhere to promote it. For example, if you post part of your video on your blog site, add the PeerDeal Link in the text description so prospective buyers can find you and your listing on PeerDeal.
