Exclusive License: Film/TV
This license gives the EXCLUSIVE right for a Licensee (buyer) to use the content anywhere for a theatrical film, a short film, a terrestrial radio, or a cable and television network broadcast. This does NOT include any form of Internet distribution.
Remember: Exclusive rights mean that the media asset can be licensed to only one Licensee (and their owned companies) during the agreed upon period. A media asset is not available for Non-Exclusive license if it is currently being licensed for Exclusive use under the same category (i.e. Internet/Online, Film/TV, Print Publishing).
Sellers should carefully choose between licensing something Exclusively or Non-Exclusively and weight the overall value based duration and price of the buyer’s offer.
