“An eBay® for media licensing”....
New consumer technologies have empowered ordinary people, anywhere in the world, to launch and operate their own personal media brands. Today’s user generated content (UGC) creators have a growing need to easily license, track, and monetize their IP rights for the content they legally capture or produce. Like an “eBay for media,” PeerDeal.com provides an online marketplace community for UGC creators and media buyers (licensees) to trade IP licenses throughout the world and grow their brands over time.
PeerDeal.com was founded in late 2008 by former entertainment executives with over 20 years of combined experience working with new media technology, media asset management, digital distribution, intellectual property (IP) rights, and rights clearances.
