1. Register Your Media Asset

Register your media asset such as an original photo, illustration or video on PeerDeal.

  • If your video or photo is posted on YouTube, Picasa or a personal website, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to link it in PeerDeal so you can make a license available.
  • If you choose to, PeerDeal will automatically send a Twitter announcement about your new listing.
  • You can upload a copy of your file to PeerDeal if you want Licensees (buyers) to download immediately after you receive payment.
2. Tag with Reference URL

PeerDeal automatically creates a short reference URL of your media asset listing that looks like this: http://peerdeal.com/abc123

  • If you post a preview of your photo or video somewhere online, ALWAYS include your unique reference URL anywhere in the description or keyword tags.
  • This is how Licensees (buyers) can easily know where to find your listing on PeerDeal.
  • When a buyer finds your photo or video anywhere online (e.g. search engine, YouTube, website, etc.), your refernce URL sends them directly to your media asset listing in PeerDeal.
3. Review Offers

After Licensees (buyers) find your content listing, they can “Make an Offer” (minimum $1.99) for NON-EXCLUSIVE or EXCLUSIVE rights to use your content under any three licensing options:

  • 1. Online / Internet
    2. Film / TV
    3. Print Publishing

You can review their offer price based on the terms above and choose to accept, decline or make a counter offer.
