1. Finding the Licensor

You can find media assets in several ways:

• Online search engines
• YouTube or Google’s Picasa
• Search or browse the PeerDeal website
• Get an email or Twitter notification

If the Licensee (seller) is already registered with PeerDeal, there’ll be a short reference URL in the description of the photo or video that will link to the exact listing on PeerDeal.

The reference URL will look something like this: http://peerdeal.com/abc123

If the Licensee isn’t registered, simply ask them to create an account on PeerDeal.

2. Select the Terms

PeerDeal has pre-packaged licensing options to make it simple for both Licensors and Licensees to choose and use:

1.Exclusive or Non-Exclusive rights
2. Internet/Online, Film/TV, or Print/Publishing
3. Duration of the license (1, 3, 6, 9, 12 months)
4. Your offer price (minimum $1.99)

All license options are for worldwide use with no limitation to geographical territories.

3. Make an Offer

Once you’re done selecting your license options, choose an offer price for the license and how long you want your offer to be active.

For example, if you need the media asset to meet a deadline, your offer can expire between one to 48 hours.

After you submit an offer, the Licensor can choose to accept, reject or make a counter offer.
